Kendrick Lamar Ft. Gunplay - Cartoons & Cereal (Unofficial Music Video).

With good kid, m.A.A.d. city only a week away, we felt it was appropriate to remind everyone why Kendrick Lamar is one of the best rappers of this generation. Back in early February, the internet was set ablaze when a brand new song by the TDE emcee was leaked. The track, “Cartoons & Cereal” gained a tremendous amount of attention for its originality, creativity, edginess, and more obviously, the collaboration with the always eccentric Gunplay. Kendrick not only solidified his position as the most promising rapper out of the West, he also won over fans and skeptics alike. This record raised more eyebrows than The Rock at the peak of his wrestling career. Although we won’t see this track on Lamar’s debut album, we are lucky enough to have an excellent fan made music video that captures the essence of this song perfectly. Josh Forman created a stampede of animated visuals that wonderfully juxtapose against the gritty nature of the original song. Definitely a must watch for any Kendrick Lamar fan. In fact, this video should just be made into an official video, it’s that good.
