In preparation for The No Budget Film Festival, Cartel put together a dinner-party/mixer with all the filmmakers, panelists, sponsors, and other parties involved. It was quite a treat to meet all the creative individuals taking part in this event. So many of them are so passionate about the art and are extremely excited to be involved in this unique festival.Certainly one of the highlights of the night was the food. A specially crafted four course meal was provided from the skilled hands of Whim Kitchen. We were presented with one delicious plate after another revolving around the street food theme.Don’t forget the No Budget Film Festival takes place on August 25, 2011 at the Downtown Independent. That’s exactly one week away. Be sure to make it out and support your local arts. Tickets are still available but in very limited supply.
