Big K.R.I.T. - Live from the Underground (Full Album Stream).
Has it really been nearly two years since Big K.R.I.T. was signed to Def Jam? In those two years, the Mississippi emcee dropped three critically acclaimed mixtapes that could easily stand alone as full length albums. In fact, these mixtapes were so well received, most would argue his music rivals the best hip hop has to offer. When Krizzle made the announcement that his debut album, Live from the Underground, would have to be delayed until summer 2012, many felt that he may have exhausted himself of his best music through these free mixtapes. But today, we are treated to the full album stream of the debut album, and boy were we wrong. K.R.I.T. has always prided himself in creating hit albums, not hit songs, but in this album we have both. As there are certified slappers, thumping bangers, cruising hits, soulful melodies, introspective ballads, and overall excellent music. Don’t think that K.R.I.T. did all this alone, as he brought a number of notable guests including Ludacris, Bun B, 8Ball & MJG, Anthony Hamilton, and Big Sant. Most surprisingly, K.R.I.T. even enlisted the aid of Blues legend and Presidential favorite, B.B. King. There aren’t enough talented artists like Big K.R.I.T.. If this is considered a debut, it is the most seasoned, marinated, and aged debut in hip hop history. Stream now.
