Double Cross continues to roll bigger, faster, and with more flair! We're coming at ya once again for another stellar show with some of most promising young producers in the game. On December 13, 2014, Brownies and Lemonade is proud to present the Moving Castle takeover of Double Cross, marking the trendsetting online collective's west coast debut at The Lash.
Moving Castle could be considered the A$AP Mob of the DJ game: formed by producers Manila Killa, AOBeats, Hunt For The Breeze, and Robokid, the group has been dropping consistent heat from forward-thinking artists from all over the world. Most remarkably, this collective has grown and garnered an enormous following in less than a year of launching. Two weeks ago, Moving Castle released their third compilation album, containing 12 original and reworked tracks, and in the few short weeks since its release, the compilation has already amassed huge praise from the likes of Nest HQ, Pigeons and Planes, Run the Trap, Your EDM, and over a million plays on Soundcloud.
Your EDM describes Moving Castle's sound as: "Lost in some futuristic bar outside of this universe, beyond our time and space, where language is so unnecessary and these beats are all we need. They keep the peace, and as a collective we are happy, and not in some fake autocratic way. On some real utopia shit. Where bright lights and bouncy bodies and beats all moving in sync are all that matter."
We couldn't be more thrilled to have all four founding members of Moving Castle rocking the stage, for the first time in Los Angeles!
In addition to the main event, we also have some of our favorite buds supplying hits in the front room. Goj!ra and Fernet will be dishing out some rump-shaking tunes. And B&L dance purveyor, COVNTRY CLVB, will also be dropping a hot birthday set!
