Brownies and Lemonade presents: Budget Banquet.

L.A. is a trendsetting city in the world of food. The food truck craze originated in this city. The birthplace of the barbecue chicken pizza is L.A.. Some even say that the Mexican food in L.A. is better than in Mexico. Nearly every type of cuisine is amply available in every neighborhood here. Food is a way of life in Los Angeles.

That in mind, Brownies and Lemonade thought it would be a great idea to hold a cooking competition to celebrate some of the great culinary artists in our gastro-centric city. We asked skilled chefs to come together and compete with one main rule: create the best and most plentiful meal for under $20. We also thought it would be appropriate, in traditional Brownies and Lemonade fashion, to include great live music, provide drinks, and create a memorable event for this contest.

Cannot spend more than $20 on a meal. Seasoning, oil/butter, vinegar, and herbs are not included.
