Broke LA Music & Arts Festival (4/23/16).

This year, we've had the pleasure of doing two festivals. One was SXSW and now we're bringing it back to LA with Broke LA Music & Arts Festival, the full transformation of our largest event to date, Brokechella. The new and improved Broke L.A. Fest will be spanning 5 stages, with 50+ artists, 20+ vendors, and at a brand new location in the heart of DTLA.

We are thrilled to once again curate and produce a full stage of music that encapsulates the best of rising talent showcasing the likes of LA's most exciting emerging hip hop, R&B, 808 beats. Our performers include fiery producer Softest Hard, 1234 Creations head honcho & gifted songwriter/producer Daniel D'artiste, genre bending rapper Lil Aaron, chart topping vocalist Father Dude, Film Noir Sound producer Madbliss among many others. Oh and we'll have some crazy secret guests. ;)

In addition to our stage, expect lots of amazing art installations in our BrokeLAndscape. Artists will build mini-versions of prominent sights in Los Angeles, mostly working from found or recycled materials. What will result is an interactive cityscape where you can explore, experience, and take in everything we love about our city.Other art installations and visual wonders to include giant murals extending our LAndscape installation, as well as stage mural design from the muralist street art team COlabs.

Also, we have a treat for all dog lovers with Bark LA, presented in partnership with NKLA, No Kill Los Angeles. NKLA is an initiative led by Best Friends Animal Society that brings together passionate individuals, city shelters and an entire coalition of animal welfare organizations to end the killing of dogs and cats in shelters throughout Los Angeles by the year 2017. Attendees will have a chance to adopt new family members, and bring their own dogs (pre-registration required).

So much to experience at Broke LA Fest. We've only mentioned the tip of the iceberg. Last year we had upwards of 5,000 attendees at the festival. So don't be the one person who sleeps on this incredible event this year. A little more than a week left until Broke LA hits DTLA. Get your tix for 4/23 at brokelafest.com.
