There is a global sound we've been in love with forever. This sound has influence from multiple types of cultures and is beginning to resonate to a larger audience. This sound has influence from dancehall, reggaeton, dembow, baile funk. Because we can't get enough of this sound, we decided to partner with our buds at Goldenvoice to start a brand new party centered around global influenced bass music. Thus, the idea of Chile Limón was born. To give life to this party, we curated a lineup of artists who draw inspiration from these sounds while continuing to push electronic music forward. So this Friday, June 10, 2016, join us to experience a new arena of dance music.
NINA SKY. First off, let's take a step back and realize that NINA SKY is playing our party! Natalie and Nicole are legends. This iconic duo has been churning out smash hits for over a decade. Collaborating with Major Lazer, Lil Jon, Sean Paul, Pitbull, Troyboi, Daddy Yankee, and so many more. We're so pumped to bring you an extremely rare DJ set by the talented and lovely duo.
FALCONS. Falcons is an amalgamation of many things, a boiling pot of styles and genre-free influence. The musical tastes range from world music to southern rap, and everything in between. The only rules are to push the boundaries of conventional r&b, rap, and electronic music, exploring new directions, but never losing site of the dancefloor.
PROMNITE. Promnite and Falcons represent half of the might Athletixx crew. These two have been considered some of the most dynamic producers in the game. Together, these two team up get the dance floor moving with non stop riddims and 808 heavy jams.
JSTJR. A budding talent in crafting popfriendly African and Latin inspired bass music. Pronounced "gesture," this DJ/producer has quickly become the face of world bass music for some of the most successfully emergent music genres. Mastering twerk, moombahton, and zouk bass, his productions are diverse on a literally global scale, making JSTJR a quickly rising name.
DIFFERENT SLEEP. This LA based producer is quickly rising the electronic ranks. With memorable remixes and expert original tracks, expect heat from this set.
As a bonus, RSVP provides FREE entry before 10pm. All the action takes place at Los Globos in Silverlake, LA. Lines are constantly getting longer at our shows, so early arrival always recommended for swift entry.
