March 9th marked the 15 year anniversary of the death of Notorious B.I.G.. With the surplus of B.I.G. related posts all over the internet, it's hard to pinpoint anything substantial that deserves attention. But when I stumbled upon Terry Urban's dedication project honoring late Biggie Smalls, it was difficult for me to stop listening to the project. Urban teams up DOPE Couture and a whole slew of DJs/producers to fuse the accapellas B.I.G.'s Ready to Die album with samples of Lana Del Rey's Born to Die. Oddly enough, it works really well. It has a very Clams Casino sound to it with a gully New York edge. Download now.
