R. Kelly will forever be the king of R&B. Although, as of late, Kells has been a little M.I.A. in the music scene. Today, R&B is being invaded by innovative young crooners like The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, and JMSN, which brings up the question whether R. Kelly can keep up. Today we are treated to a full stream of Kell's newest album Write Me Back. This is definitely not a return to the days of 12 Play or TP2.com, but this album will help R. Kelly win fans who see him as a sex crazed maniac. Many of the tracks have a bubbly "Happy People" type of feel, which feels unlike the R. Kelly we have grown to love. But hey, at least the King is still making new music.
