After teasing us with looping images for 4 minutes, Lana Del Rey's epic 8 minute Anthony Mandler-directed video for National Anthem is finally out and it far from disappoints. I feel like this video perfectly embodies today's "instagram generation" in its stylization and visual cues and I love it. I love ALL of it. The styling is literally perfect, Lana looks fantastic and her chemistry with A$AP Rocky is electric. And that scene where "A$AP as JFK" gets shot and "Lana as Jackie O" turns in shock? Chills. I can't imagine this video being anything else than what it is. Well played everyone.
