What a forgotten classic this is. Kriss Kross was the original hip hop boy band. A 18 year old Jermaine Dupri invested all of his hard earned allowance (ahem) in two kids who had decent rapping ability. With over night success tracks like "Jump," these prepubescent rappers became a runaway success. But after the two grew older, so did their popularity. Even at the twilight of their careers, there is no denying the fact that "Tonight's Tha Night" is a summer banger. The smooth G-Funk beat is perfect for any backyard boogie. Couple that with the hop scotching verses by Mack Daddy and Daddy Mac and you got yourself a genuine crowd pleaser.
