Delayed Gratification

This idea came into fruition many years ago. I was waiting for a couple of chili dogs with a group of friends in the seemingly endless line at Pink's. Looking for something to pass the time, I drew my attention towards the LA Xpress news stand. I grabbed the newspaper and quickly searched for entertaining articles. I came across an personal ad entitled 'Brownies and Lemonade'. I won't get into the details about this ad, but let's just say it provided bellyful of laughs for the rest of the night.

The magnitude of this ad left a impression in my mind and has now inspired the creation of this website. My friends and I will use this as a medium to send out our trends, tastes, traditions, and temptations. But more importantly, at browniesandlemonade.com, always expect a hot mess.
