Bay to Breakers 2011: 100 Year Edition
Every year, the annual 12k foot race in San Francisco has become less about athletic prowess and more about booze driven street festivities. This year was no different. As you can see, a couple of general trends during this event were: costumes, excess skin, public drunkenness, debauchery, and of course street parties. The authorities attempted to regulate some of the event by prohibiting floats. Ultimately, the lack of floats only seemed to open the streets for more raucous people. Either way, Bay to Breakers ended up being a success.
