November 5th is a big day for Detroit music. Not only did we receive new album from one of the greatest rappers of all time, we also received a new EP from one of the most promising and talented singers in the game. JMSN drops his latest project, †Pllajë†. The 10 track EP is once again a lush body of work, full of moody instrumentals, complex production, and of course, top notch atmospheric vocals. This EP provides a level of depth even fans may have not expected. The title itself is an Albanian term for 'plateau,' stemming from JMSN's Albanian background, and serves as a metaphor to explain not knowing if life will get better, if you've hit your peak and the rest is just a Plateau. And of course this whole project was written, produced and mixed by JMSN and mastered by Vlado Meller (known for his work with Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Beastie Boys, and more).
